i recently experienced a husband and wife altercation, that showed me the lack of depth of love, care and respect for each other. at the same time i was reading a book from the author of ‘smacked’ about addictions on all levels, numbless relationships via FB (facebook) that deceive the recipient that the ‘other’ is her soul mate connection, after all there are millions of people online, why should these two bump into each other in cyberspace if it weren’t to have  meaning?

has to be synergy! and so the  relationship develops and their is a belief that even tho they cannot sense, feel and see the ‘other’, love is a great bond that can connect at any level. I experienced something like that, he lived inAmerica, my marriage was crumbling, but I can tell u when we finally met there was such disappointment, we had no affinity.  To share my thoughts, heart, body and soul has to be with a good friend, a depth of connection that survives the challenges and lessons life ensures of us with all senses.

No matter how dark and lonely our lives may seem, there is always some poor ‘other’ getting it much worse than us.  We need to know this, cos  we are masters of deception, to ourselves and others. We’re told  to live in the ‘now’ and that our perception of an experience is what matters. Well ……….. there has to be truth in this, after all, we cant ‘all’ be sucked in the sludge, with no way out? But the say ‘we are one’, so it must be a universal consciousness, we just don’t realise exactly  how much!

‘Its better to have loved than to not have loved at all?  Perhaps the husband and wife I met had once loved each other? How can it go so wrong, how does love turn to hate? I do believe ‘familiarity breads contempt’, we are obsessed with consuming the other when we first meet, then with little left to sustain it.  I’d rather be in a sexless marriage than be in one that’s also loveless. Perhaps being single has more advantages to it than I expected!
